Metrology.
Eggshell colors include white, light brown, brown, dark brown, and
cyan. Some people prefer red shell eggs, while others prefer green
shell eggs, believing that they have higher nutritional value. The
color of the egg shell comes from the final process of egg
processing in the hen's reproductive tract - the pigment secreted
by the uterine epithelium, such as egg porphyrin providing brown,
