STNY-102 Automatic Pesticide Moisture Meter
The STNY-102 automatic pesticide moisture meter is designed and
manufactured according to the GB/T 1600 pesticide moisture
determination method. The detection principle is based on
electrochemical reactions and adopts the standard test method of
Karl Fischer volumetric titration for water determination. It fully
automatically determines the moisture content of pesticides and can
quickly and accurately measure the moisture content from 10ppm to
100%
Detection principle
The detection principle is based on electrochemical reactions,
specifically, moisture determination is carried out through the
following steps:
Preprocessing: When the Karl Fischer reagent in the electrolytic
cell of the instrument reaches equilibrium, inject the sample
containing water into it.
Reaction process: Water participates in the oxidation-reduction
reaction of iodine and sulfur dioxide, forming pyridine and methyl
sulfate pyridine, and consuming iodine. In this process, iodine is
electrolyzed and reacts with water. The consumed iodine is
electrolyzed at the anode to maintain the progress of the redox
reaction.
Endpoint determination: When the reaction consumes all the water,
the remaining Karl Fischer reagent will form a conductive liquid
between the platinum electrodes, and the titration endpoint can be
determined by measuring the conductivity. If there is a slight
change in the conductivity of the solution before and after adding
the sample to be tested, this information can also be used to
calculate the moisture content in the sample.
Functional Features
Titration system: high-precision titration system, with a minimum
nightfall of 1 μ l
Electromagnetic valve: Imported advanced integrated electromagnetic
three-way valve reduces the dead volume inside the valve body to
the minimum, and the liquid circuit switching speed only takes one
hundredth of a second. The outlet pressure of the electromagnetic
three-way valve reaches 100kPa, so there is no need to worry about
leakage of the three-way valve even if the pipeline is blocked.
● Current variation: Real time display of reaction cup current
variation, allowing for intuitive observation of the entire
reaction process and more accurate measurement of the sample
● Storage information: Measurement information that complies with
GLP standards and can store 200 measurement results
Printing function: It can connect to a micro printer and print
stored measurement information;
● Waste discharge function: Automated solvent and waste liquid
suction and discharge function
● Display parameters: including date, operator number, burette
type, endpoint current, etc
● Special air pump: Designed with a dedicated solvent suction pump,
it eliminates the siphon phenomenon caused by air pressure, and
stops immediately upon pressing, accurately controlling the volume
of solvent
